Lachlan Herring

Lachlan is a Canberra-based Actor, Writer and Theatre Maker. Lachlan started performing when he was 8 years old and since then has performed and trained with a range companies and styles. Some of Lachlan’s most notable performances include Moon in Tom Stoppard’s, ‘The Real Inspector Hound’ (Radford Theatre Company, 2021) and Jay Gatsby in ‘The Great Gatsby’ (Budding Entertainment, 2020). In 2020 Lachlan volunteered as an acting tutor at Budding Entertainment and later that year trained at the Australian Institute of Performing Arts in Sydney, specializing in screen acting. In 2021 Lachlan studied part-time at the National Institute of Dramatic Art as a student of their Young Actors Studio. At the end of 2021 Lachlan was announced as a winner of the ‘Q The Bard’ Shakespeare competition, for his performance of Richard III in Henry VI Part 3, and is now one of The Q’s Young Ambassadors for 2022!

This is Lachlan’s first show with Lakespeare, and he has loved every minute of it! He just hopes you enjoy the show just as much as he did working on it!
